Whether you are new to RV’ing or a primitive RV’er here are some useful hints for you.You should know about and join the Good Sam Club. Why? Because it is a motor home club and a camping club. Their goal is to make RV’ing safe and comfortable for us.

This is a fantastic club that no RV’er should be without. Here are just some of the benefits.

*10% camping discounts on nightly rates at the Good Sam Parks in the U.S and Canada.
*A “Highway ” magazine each month with tips and advice
* RV trip routing–comes in handy if caught in road construction
* Member only discounts on gas, road service,RV parks, RV repairs

They also offer a very low RV insurance. Set upto 70% off life insurance. Their road service is the best. I have had to personally exercise this service for a flat tire. If I hadn’t had this it would have cost me 250.00 just to change the tire. I also had to be towed in once.

It is well worth the few bucks they charge each year. As of April 09 it is only 19.00 a year. A person would be crazy not to take advantage of this and I’m not crazy. Are you?

Once you join in your membership pack is a round sticker to proudly indicate on your back windshield of your RV to let everyone know you are a Kindly Sam member. I proudly display mine. When people see this they are more apt to stop and help you or ask you for help.

Rv’ing is becoming more and more popular these days, especially with the ecomony the way it is. It is a cheaper alterative to staying in a motel and eating in a restaurants. Now that the price of gas has gone down it is a much better solution to vacation travel. You take your home on wheels and stop at a road side park and cook your dinner or if you prefer can cook it while on the road. Altho I myself dont advice cooking while traveling on the road.

You have all the convenences of home in your Rv. Stove, fridge, table and chairs, some have couches,tv,stereo, shower, stool, sink in kitchen and even a microwave.

Only you can answer this demand when many a store will throw open the doors on this Dusky Friday, the day when retailers hope to hear the cash registers hum in a continuous melody and when car insurance companies brace themselves for the many calls reporting fender benders, bumps, and scrapes encountered while consumers were squeezing their oversized SUVs into parking spaces designed for the average Ford Pinto.

While many a Thanksgiving celebrant is collected sleeping off the after effects of the most calorie rich meal of the year, bleary eyed die hard shoppers are getting up as early as 3:00 AM to eat breakfast – leftovers, what else – and dress for a day of hardcore shopping, elbowing through crowds, and protecting toes from overeager fellow shoppers.

Even as the City of Brotherly Love gears up for this event, savvy buyers are already scouring the Internet for ads leaked by insiders in an effort to plan their shop attack. Here are five must sees in your fight for Black Friday bargains:

Staples, which may not sound like the holiday shapely gift store until you take a look inside, is at the forefront of Philly’s deals and steals. Near to the 1300 S Columbus Blvd. location in Philadelphia, PA 19147 between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM and treat yourself to a Samsung CLP-300 color laser printer which is on sale for only $99.98 – a savings of $150! A Compaq Presario notebook with 1 GB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive is for sale at a price of only $349.98 which includes a free HP inkjet printer! This is a saving of more than $400! As you may well imagine, these items will go fast and standing in line by 4:45 AM is highly recommended!

Sears stale to be considered only a location for buying tools, siding, or having the kids’ pictures taken, but with the Black Friday ads for slight home appliances this is a serious contender for the favor of the gift giving holiday shopper in 2007! Located at 4300 Byberry Rd in Philadelphia, PA 19154 you may take advantage of stunning deals between the hours of 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A George Foreman Grill or Hamilton Beach Deep Fryer will sell for $29.99 which is $20 less than the regular note of $49.99. Yet the most desirable item bar none will be the Saddle five piece pub set of one table and four bar stools which normally sells for $249.99 but on Black Friday will retail for only $99.99!

Linens N’ Things on 2110 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd. in Philadelphia, PA 19148 offers a two day door buster sale beginning on Black Friday at 5:00 AM. Even though not commonly known as a toy store, the Wow Wee Roboreptile which will be available at $39.99 at a savings of $60 is sure to get some enthusiastic parents to visit.

The car nut on your shopping list will worship the deals offered at Pep Boys which is found on 1050 E. Hunting Park Ave. in Philadelphia, PA 19124. On Black Friday only between 5:00 AM and 11:00 AM you may find a Baja 50 ATV regularly priced at $799.99 for only $399.98! Granted, this price includes a $100 mail in rebate, but even so this deal is nearly unbeatable!

Last but not least is everyone’s popular, Ace Hardware at the 2011 Fairmount Ave. plot in Philadelphia, PA 19130. Perhaps the one store to have pity on the serious overeater, this sale does not start until 7:00 AM when a free (after rebate) Power Glide 3.6 volt cordless screwdriver or free (after rebate) 100 count mini icicle Christmas lights may be yours just for showing up!
